Belarus can be entered by road through any of the land borders it shares – passports and visas should be registered with the hotel or other accommodation for the first night in the country before entering, and the vehicle must be registered with a Belarusian insurance agency at a border crossing point. There are a number of coach services into Minsk from other European cities which operate regularly. A national driving licence is required along with an International Driving Permit
